About Adam

Adam is a leading specialist in biomorphic art (Arabesque), a traditional cursive art form that can be found universally. He has been teaching for classes around the world since 2005. Adam spent 2020 running ongoing online pattern classes. Biomorphic art is a visual crystallization of movement, biomorphs express the archetypal cycles inherent in nature, from plant growth, sound vibrations and oceanic currents to the expansion of galaxies. Adam wrote the Islimi chapter for the Thames and Hudson book Arts and Crafts of the Islamic Lands and is currently working on two extensive manuals on biomorphic pattern.
