In this practical class we will draw the stunning 8 fold marble rosette and band carved by the magnificent entrance to the 14th Century Mosque-Madrasa of Sultan Hassan in Cairo, Egypt. 

We will study the Mamluk motifs and create the geometric and biomorphic weave.
