Biomorphic, architectural perspective and geometric drawing class.

From Samakand to Bukhara you can visit monuments and walk between stunning arcades of carved elm columns each with an unusual and beautifully composed design.

In this class we draw and explore the carved wooden columns of Uzbekistan. These remarkable artworks are architectural elements distinct to Uzbekistan. Carved from local woods such as elm, walnut, and juniper some columns like those of the Juma Masjid date back to the 10th century.

Join us for a special double session in-which we will draw and render and celebrate a series designs together.
